The brewhouse was the “sacred hall” of the monastery brewery. The large windows have flooded the room with light. The copper boilers gleamed. A large clock hung on the wall. The fittings, railings, floor and wall tiles were not designed purely for functionality, but to be representative. And although operations were discontinued in 1999, the copper boilers were polished every year. The brewhouse remained the “sacred hall” of the monastery brewery until the very end.
